Max Roberts
Director
Max is a founder shareholder and Director of Walbrook Search Ltd.
He began his financial markets search career in 1997 at Alexander Mann Global Markets, recruiting top performing equity derivative and convertible bond sales and research professionals. In late 2001, he moved to Hanover Search & Selection where he co-founded and managed their financial markets practice. He continued to focus on his core markets but in 2002 he began to broaden his product and market specialisation to include equity capital market disciplines and is now regarded as a leading search specialist in corporate equity derivatives, equity-linked origination and cash ECM.
Throughout his career, he has always taken a consultative approach to his work and has successfully originated and executed assignments at every level across a variety of investment banks, private banks, asset management companies and hedge funds. Prior to executive search, Max worked in the financial services industry.
Anthony Bexley
Director
Anthony is a founder shareholder and a Director of Walbrook Search Ltd.
He started his career in 1997 as a graduate in IT recruitment for the financial sector and in 2001 moved to the field of foreign exchange and commodities. He joined Hanover Search & Selection as a senior consultant in 2006, building and managing a successful commodity and FX desk for 3 years. During this time, he placed senior level executives and developed a reputation for his expertise in both the commodity and FX market before leaving to become a co – founder of Walbrook Search Ltd.
Anthony specialises in Commodities, Foreign Exchange and is responsible for the Fixed Income business at Walbrook Search, originating and executing searches in the UK, EMEA, US and Asia. As a specialist consultant he works across the derivative markets as well as physical commodities covering all sectors undertaking assignments for global investment banks, Asset Managers, Family Offices, Hedge Funds and Trading Houses. In response to market demand, Anthony has broadened his mandate to cover other areas including IT, Audit, Compliance and Prime Brokerage.
Nick Michael
Director
Nick is a founder shareholder and Director of Walbrook Search Ltd.
Prior to co-founding Walbrook Search, he was a senior consultant at Hanover Search & Selection where he conducted assignments across equities. Prior to this, Nick had successfully established an executive search firm which he ran for seven years. However, he began his search career at Alexander Mann Global Markets where he managed a team of consultants specialising in equities. Before entering executive search, he spent 5 years in the Japanese Equity Markets, where he was involved in both trading and sales of equity markets.
Nick specialises in cash equities, equity derivatives and on a broader level family offices and wealth management. He has in excess of 18 years of executive search experience and has successfully executed assignments across all levels and functions of the equity business from associate to managing director. Nick has completed searches in equity sales trading, sales and research, equity derivatives sales and trading.
